Yeah, even with my tolerance, eating the hot sauce is not great for the stomach(Or the other nether regions). I can casually consume 2+ million SHU's without problems, it's the digestion part that causes issues. I already have a history with gut issues and despite my rigorous training to improve the GI tract, it seems that its still quite damaging. Not to the point of taking dicyclomine again, but enough to not use it so haphazardly because I want to eat something spicy. In hindsight(no pun intended), I think the coffee probably did more damage than the hot sauce did. The combination of the two definitely is reactive to say that least. Despite going on multiple tirades regarding many aspects of issues in the modern world, the ongoing experience of my existence hasn't shifted all that much. Another case of attempting to sow seeds that never sprout. Unfortunate as it is, it's the way life is in most cases. Decided to move on to greener pastures. I've opted to further...

Pepper X Challenge Completed

Image
I completed the challenge. Completed is a weird way to say it. It's more like I did something most people are too afraid to do. It was quite the spicy pepper to say the least. I'm glad I didn't swallow because I think the residual capsaicin is already doing quite a bit of damage. Fantastic. I don't think I have much left to prove at this point in terms of my spice tolerance. I ate it straight, I ate it on a potato chip, I chewed and spit out the actual pepper, all maintaining my demeanor and calm. Was it painful? yes. Was it agonizing? yes. Was it tolerable? yes. Now I can proudly say, I know spicy. Hottest pepper in the world? Easy.  Won't do it again unless you pay me, that was just an experiment to test me, myself. I'd say I passed with flying colors. I should send some to my reps.

Something I've yet to bring up is my own gun hobbies. I have a few firearms and continue to accumulate more to fill in gaps in my own offensive capabilities. Pistol Caliber Carbine (PCC), a 9mm compact carbine that's ideal for home defense or indoor situations. I recently came across this Extar EP9 PCC while doing some research. It is very lightweight while maintaining capabilities featured on rifles, such as a picatinny style top rail or mlok handguard. Even the grip and trigger are AR-style, making it ideal for customizing to the exact specifications you need. It takes glock-style magazines, meaning up to 31 bullets per magazine. Get a load of that, what a feature to have.  There are others like AK-V or Ruger's PCC, however this one stood out for 2 reasons, the cost of the carbine itself which is in itself, shockingly low for the stated specifications and the product listing page itself in their own statements regarding the firearm. Very convincing without overpitching,...
